born to a human and a siren, shu is a half-siren; while he's human for the most part, his pair of legs can transform into a scaly, dark blue tail at will whenever he's in water. shu's tail is sensitive however, so he only allows a select few to ever lay a finger on it (it's also one of the reasons why he prefers to sleep around in his human form). since shu is only a half-siren, his charming voice doesn't really affect those who listen to him sing. to this day, he's still learning how to fit into the human society, as he didn't grow up with a lot of friends to begin with. to shu, forging meaningful connections with others is what brings him a lot of joy in this world.
